signature pieces
the bloodline edit
made the old way
When we say we make Bloodline jewelry the old way, we mean it.
Our pieces are designed, carved, cast and finished in our Vancouver studios, drawing on Old World traditions that have shaped jewelry making for centuries. We work in solid precious metals—never plated or coated—and are straightforward about the materials we use.
Many Bloodline pieces begin not on a computer, but at the bench. Malcolm always works directly in wax, carving the original design by hand before it is cast in metal using the lost-wax process, a method with roots thousands of years old.
Once cast, the work continues by hand. Each piece is filed, polished and finished in our studios, preserving the character of the original carving and the weight and detail that distinguish Bloodline jewelry.
Past. Present. Bloodline.
