Care & Services
Every Bloodline Design piece is crafted with intention and made to endure. We stand behind the integrity of our materials and craftsmanship and offer continued care for our jewelry long after it leaves our hands.
Clasps & Closures
Clasps and closures are protected for two years from the original date of purchase against defects in materials or craftsmanship. Should an eligible issue arise within this period, we will repair or replace the affected component at no charge.
Beyond two years, we are pleased to continue caring for your piece. Our team will assess the jewelry individually and advise of any repair or restoration costs before work is undertaken.
Natural Wear & Care
Fine jewelry evolves with wear. Surface marks, patina, tarnishing and other signs of natural wear are part of this process and are not considered manufacturing defects.
Our warranty does not extend to accidental damage, loss or theft, improper care or storage, or pieces that have been altered or repaired by a third party.
Proof of Purchase
Valid proof of purchase from Bloodline Design or an authorized Bloodline Design retailer is required for all warranty claims.
All warranty claims are subject to assessment and approval by Bloodline Design.

Many Bloodline Design pieces are crafted or finished to order, reflecting the considered approach we take to our jewelry and production. For this reason, we do not offer returns or refunds.
We are pleased to offer exchanges within 14 days.
In-Store Purchases
Pieces purchased in store may be exchanged within 14 days of the original purchase date for another piece or Bloodline Design store credit.
For over three decades, Bloodline Design has remained committed to traditional craftsmanship, creating jewelry using time-honoured techniques and environmentally conscious practices.
Each piece is individually handcrafted from .925 sterling silver and, where applicable, natural gemstones, 14kt gold, lab sapphires, and lab diamonds. We do not electroplate, lacquer, or coat our jewelry to prevent tarnishing. These shortcuts compromise the integrity of the material and often involve unnecessary chemical processes.
Natural Aging & Tarnishing
Sterling silver naturally develops character over time. This aging process is an inherent quality of the material and one we embrace. With proper care, your Bloodline jewelry will continue to develop a distinctive patina unique to its wearer.
To minimize excessive tarnishing, avoid prolonged exposure to chlorine, hot tubs, certain ocean environments, personal fragrances, and skincare products. When not being worn, store your jewelry in a clean, dry environment.
Oxidized Finishes
The darkened details found in many Bloodline pieces are created through a traditional oxidation process using naturally occurring sulphur. This finish enhances the depth and character of each design.
Liquid jewelry cleaners can strip away this intentional oxidation and alter the appearance of your piece. We strongly advise against using liquid jewelry cleaners on any Bloodline Design jewelry.
With thoughtful care, your jewelry is made to be worn, appreciated, and passed down for generations.
The natural gemstones featured in Bloodline Design jewelry possess unique variations in colour, texture, and character. While some stones are more durable than others, all require care to prevent scratching, chipping, and wear.
Store gemstone jewelry separately in a soft pouch, particularly when travelling, to prevent unnecessary wear. To clean, gently wipe with a soft cloth using lukewarm water and mild, diluted soap. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged soaking to preserve the natural beauty of each stone.
Pearls are delicate organic gemstones that require thoughtful care to preserve their natural lustre.
Avoid direct contact with fragrances, lotions, and harsh chemicals. After wearing, gently wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth and allow to dry completely before storing.
Store pearls separately in a soft pouch, away from abrasive surfaces and excessively dry conditions. Avoid airtight containers, as pearls benefit from moderate humidity.
To preserve your Bloodline jewelry, store each piece in a closed jewelry box or soft pouch, away from humidity, direct sunlight, and exposure to air.
Avoid storing jewelry in bathrooms or near skincare products and fragrances, as moisture and certain chemicals can accelerate tarnishing.
